How AssessMyBER uses information shared through this website.

Who to contact

For questions about your personal information, contact AssessMyBER at info@assessmyber.ie.

Information you provide

An enquiry asks for your name, email, phone number, property category, county and town or area. You can also provide an Eircode, preferred date and notes. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in the notes.

Why we use it

We use your details to answer your enquiry, check availability, agree an assessment and provide the service you request. We process this information to take steps at your request before a contract and to perform that contract. Necessary security and service-administration processing supports our legitimate interest in running a reliable service.

Services and sharing

The website and enquiry form use Webflow. Email correspondence is handled through Google Workspace. These providers process information on our behalf. If another assessor is needed, we will explain the arrangements before sharing the information needed for the visit.

Service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under their applicable data-protection safeguards. Information required for an agreed BER assessment is handled separately as part of providing that service and meeting the relevant record-keeping requirements.

How long we keep information

We retain enquiry details for as long as reasonably needed to respond, arrange the requested service and maintain necessary business records. Assessment records may need to be retained for applicable professional and legal requirements. You can contact us to ask about your records or request deletion where those obligations do not require retention.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal information, and object to processing where applicable. You may also have a right to data portability. Email us to make a request. You can raise a concern with Ireland’s Data Protection Commission.

Cookies and website measurement

This redesign does not add advertising, session recording or analytics scripts. Essential hosting and form-security technologies may be used to operate the website. Your price selection is passed to the booking page as a property category; personal enquiry details are not placed in the website address.

If optional analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, this notice and any necessary consent controls will be updated first.
